La empresa estuvo nominada en la categor\u00eda \u201cEducaci\u00f3n de calidad\u201d, por su convenio con el Liceo Mar\u00eda Behety en Punta Arenas y en \u00abProducci\u00f3n y consumo responsable\u00bb\u00a0 por su proyecto de Acuicultura Multitr\u00f3fica en Ays\u00e9n.<\/p>\n<p>La alianza con el establecimiento educacional busca promover y fomentar la acuicultura a trav\u00e9s de diversas actividades.\u00a0 Este proyecto ha permitido la formaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 150 de j\u00f3venes en temas relacionados a la acuicultura, contribuyendo a que Magallanes pueda tener talento local para el desarrollo de la salmonicultura del futuro.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, el proyecto de acuicultura multitr\u00f3fica consiste en una innovadora iniciativa que genera que parte de los nutrientes y los residuos org\u00e1nicos que la actividad salmonera aporta al ecosistema sean asimilados por las algas, a la vez que las mismas ayudan a disminuir los efectos de los gases de efecto invernadero, fijando carbono y produciendo ox\u00edgeno.<\/p>\n<p>En total fueron m\u00e1s de 150 postulaciones de empresas y proyectos sustentables a lo largo del pa\u00eds, los cuales fueron evaluados por la directora ejecutiva de Red Pacto Global Chile, Margarita Ducci, el director del Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n en Sustentabilidad Cisger de la UDD, Alex Godoy y la directora del Observatorio Sostenibilidad FEN de la U. de Chile, Reinalina Ch\u00e1varri, quienes finalmente eligieron a\u00a0 los 21 proyectos aspirantes a los premios.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?url_camp=192\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?camp=192\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a>\u201cEl ser finalistas en dos categor\u00edas de estos premios nos llena de orgullo, por que es un camino que desde hace a\u00f1os comenzamos a recorrer como empresa, poniendo en el centro de nuestra estrategia de negocios a la sostenibilidad y entendi\u00e9ndolo como un proceso corporativo de mejora continua, que impacta en todas las unidades de negocio.
