Son 623 las embarcaciones que operan este a\u00f1o, agrupadas en 83 organizaciones m\u00e1s la cuota residual, que es aquella asignada a embarcaciones no pertenecientes a organizaciones. La cuota disponible de captura para el a\u00f1o 2023 alcanza alrededor de 500 mil toneladas, incluyendo la cuota remanente autorizada por ley.<\/p>\n<p>En torno a la apertura de esta temporada de sardina com\u00fan y anchoveta, la directora (s) de Sernapesca Biob\u00edo, Margarita D\u00edaz indic\u00f3 que: \u201cel Servicio Nacional de Pesca y Acuicultura realizar\u00e1 la fiscalizaci\u00f3n correspondiente de la flota pesquera y, adem\u00e1s, de las plantas de elaboraci\u00f3n de harina y aceite de pescado. Asimismo, se encargar\u00e1 de la certificaci\u00f3n de los desembarques, la que es obligatoria para todos los armadores. Nuestros equipos de fiscalizaci\u00f3n est\u00e1n cumpliendo arduamente con la labor de inspecci\u00f3n de la temporada de captura de sardina com\u00fan y anchoveta, que parti\u00f3 el 1 de marzo a las 00:00\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El Seremi de Econom\u00eda de la Regi\u00f3n del Biob\u00edo, Javier Sep\u00falveda, coment\u00f3 que esta apertura de pesca pel\u00e1gica es muy importante para el pa\u00eds, ya que m\u00e1s de la mitad de los desembarques de sardina y anchoveta suceden en la regi\u00f3n, lo que desencadena actividades productivas muy intensas sobre todo para la pesca artesanal. \u201cEsperamos que esta temporada de pesca pel\u00e1gica sea exitosa y se generen fuentes de empleos y recursos sustentables para la econom\u00eda del pa\u00eds\u201d concluy\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>La directora (s) de Sernapesca explic\u00f3 que los primeros 10 d\u00edas de captura son de exclusividad de las embarcaciones menores a 15 metros, y que luego de ese plazo ingresan las de mayor tama\u00f1o.
