{"id":56285,"date":"2023-09-28T08:00:34","date_gmt":"2023-09-28T11:00:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/?p=56285"},"modified":"2023-09-28T14:49:59","modified_gmt":"2023-09-28T17:49:59","slug":"pablo-leyton-director-tecnico-de-salmofood-expuso-en-innaqua-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/pablo-leyton-director-tecnico-de-salmofood-expuso-en-innaqua-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Pablo Leyton, Director T\u00e9cnico de Salmofood, expuso en InnAqua 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alloyingenieria.com\/\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-55815 size-full alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Gif-Alloy.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/span>Salmofood tiene una destacada participaci\u00f3n en la Aquaculture Innovation Conference y Expo InnAqua 2023, un evento que concluye hoy y en el cual la compa\u00f1\u00eda de nutrici\u00f3n participa como empresa expositora, patrocinadora de actividades y tambi\u00e9n como parte de las sesiones de la Conferencia.<\/p>\n<p>En particular, la participaci\u00f3n de Salmofood en este \u00faltimo aspecto estuvo a cargo de Pablo Leyton, Director T\u00e9cnico de Salmofood, quien intervino en la sesi\u00f3n titulada \u00abAlimentos y alimentaci\u00f3n del futuro\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Durante su intervenci\u00f3n, Leyton destac\u00f3 la importancia de adoptar el an\u00e1lisis de ciclo de vida como metodolog\u00eda para evaluar el impacto en la fabricaci\u00f3n y utilizaci\u00f3n de alimentos para peces. Asimismo, proyect\u00f3 el impacto de los avances y descubrimientos en torno a nuevas fuentes de alimentaci\u00f3n para el salm\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En primer lugar mostr\u00f3 la evoluci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica de la nutrici\u00f3n de salmones en t\u00e9rminos de ingredientes e insumos, evidenciando el paso desde los macroingredientes a una diversidad de insumos y materias primas.<\/p>\n<p>El tambi\u00e9n m\u00e9dico veterinario record\u00f3 que en \u00abla diversificaci\u00f3n de ingredientes en la formulaciones ha sido a tal nivel, que si dese\u00e1ramos hoy formular dietas con los criterios de formulaci\u00f3n del a\u00f1o 2000, la industria invertir\u00eda cada a\u00f1o entre 400 y 600 millones de d\u00f3lares adicionales para costear la cuota del alimento\u00bb, dado el alza progresiva de insumos como el aceite de pescado. Igualmente,\u00a0destac\u00f3 que esta evoluci\u00f3n en las formulaciones ha ido de la mano con factores de conversi\u00f3n de 1:1 e incluso menos.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, la incorporaci\u00f3n de una amplia variedad de insumos ha abierto un nuevo flanco en cuanto a sostenibilidad ambiental, donde el tema prioritario ya no es tanto la presi\u00f3n sobre los oc\u00e9anos y la pesca pel\u00e1gica, si no la reducci\u00f3n de la huella de carbono.<\/p>\n<p>En ese sentido, Leyton explic\u00f3 que en Salmofood han implementado el an\u00e1lisis de ciclo de vida desde la etapa de producci\u00f3n de materias primas en su lugar de origen, incluyendo la importaci\u00f3n de materias primas desde diferentes partes del mundo hasta su planta en Castro. Adem\u00e1s, esta metodolog\u00eda aborda la huella de carbono corporativa en todas las etapas, hasta llegar a la fabricaci\u00f3n del producto, considerando los desechos generados y los aportes energ\u00e9ticos.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?url_camp=26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?url_camp=26 noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?camp=26\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/b><\/span><\/strong>Ya hac\u00eda el final de su presentaci\u00f3n, Pablo Leyton tambi\u00e9n enfatiz\u00f3 la importancia de evaluar la escalabilidad de los nuevos ingredientes desde el punto de vista nutricional, especialmente en consideraci\u00f3n de la creciente demanda prevista para el sector acu\u00edcola hacia el a\u00f1o 2050.<\/p>\n<p>En ese plano, hizo menci\u00f3n al uso de los peces mesopel\u00e1gicos en la alimentaci\u00f3n del salm\u00f3n y c\u00f3mo su captura en algunas regiones podr\u00eda generar discusiones sobre una nueva estructura de pesca en zonas tradicionalmente no explotadas.
