El informe ofrece una visi\u00f3n detallada del consumo de antimicrobianos en la industria del salm\u00f3n, en que destaca que durante el primer semestre de 2023 se utilizaron 177,32 Toneladas de principio activo, lo que supone una reducci\u00f3n de un 25,7 % respecto del mismo per\u00edodo en el a\u00f1o 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Del total de antimicrobianos utilizados durante el per\u00edodo, el 1,9% se utiliza en la fase de agua dulce, mientras que el 98,1% de estos son utilizados en la fase de engorda en mar. En esta \u00faltima fase, la mayor parte fue utilizada en la regi\u00f3n de Ays\u00e9n (67,38%), en menor medida en la regi\u00f3n de Los Lagos (35,52%), y en un porcentaje muy menor en la regi\u00f3n de Magallanes (0,09%).<\/p>\n<p>Respecto de las enfermedades tratadas con antimicrobianos, piscirickettsiosis es la que explica el 93,79% del uso, y en menor medida renibacteriosis (4,14%), tenacibaculosis (1,94%) y otras causas (0,12%) explican el porcentaje restante.<\/p>\n<p>En el an\u00e1lisis por especie, el 91,8% de los antimicrobianos se utilizan en salm\u00f3n del Atl\u00e1ntico (S.salar), un 34,45% en salm\u00f3n coho (O. kisutch) \u00a0y un 12,32% en trucha Arco\u00edris (O. mykiss).<\/p>\n<p>En este reporte, en que entregan los resultados de \u00cdndice de Consumo de Antimicrobianos (ICA) a ciclo cerrado por empresas, especie y regi\u00f3n en el primer semestre de 2023, destaca la reducci\u00f3n del uso de antimicrobianos, tanto para la fase de agua dulce (-26,5%), como para la fase de agua de mar (-25,7%) en el periodo, as\u00ed como el no uso de antimicrobianos de importancia cr\u00edtica para la salud humana en el per\u00edodo. \u00a0Destaca, asimismo, la reducci\u00f3n generalizada del indicador, que pas\u00f3 de 389,7 grs\/ton el a\u00f1o 2022, a 188,14 grs\/ton el a\u00f1o 2023.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?url_camp=26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?url_camp=26 noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?camp=26\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/b><\/strong><\/span>Finalmente, el informe revela los resultados del programa PROA-Salm\u00f3n, certificaci\u00f3n que impulsa SERNAPESCA para aquellos productores que van a la vanguardia del uso \u00f3ptimo y responsable de antimicrobianos, con estrategias que abordan integralmente la prevenci\u00f3n, vigilancia y las terapias oportunas. Se destaca el aumento de toneladas certificadas PROA-Salm\u00f3n, que corresponden a 361.763 toneladas, con m\u00e1s de 125 centros certificados pertenecientes a 11 empresas de cultivo.<\/p>\n<p>Cabe destacar que el presente a\u00f1o el Servicio ha gestionado importantes avances para la optimizaci\u00f3n en el uso de antimicrobianos y la sensibilizaci\u00f3n respecto a la prevenci\u00f3n la resistencia bacteriana (RAM) a estos productos farmac\u00e9uticos. Una de ellas corresponde a los avances para la implementaci\u00f3n del\u00a0 proyecto liderado por Sernapesca, denominado SVAR \u201cSurveillance, alert and response system (SVAR) for the use of antimicrobials in Chilean salmon farming\u201d,\u00a0co-financiado por \u00a0el International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS) de Dinamarca por un monto de US$ 500 mil, que considera la participaci\u00f3n de la academia, productores y el estado, con una extensi\u00f3n de 3 a\u00f1os, cuyo objetivo es generar un sistema de gesti\u00f3n de los factores de riesgo del uso de antimicrobianos en la fase de engorda en mar, generando alertas oportunas que permitan optimizar el uso de los antimicrobianos. Por otro lado, durante el mes de septiembre se efectu\u00f3 en las oficinas de Sernapesca en Valpara\u00edso, la primera reuni\u00f3n de la mesa de Antimicrobianos, que convoco a todas las empresas a trav\u00e9s de sus gerencias t\u00e9cnicas, gremios, MEVEA, Subsecretaria de Pesca y Acuicultura, donde se abord\u00f3 el procedimiento de uso extra-etiqueta y la actualizaci\u00f3n del programa PROA-SALMON.
