Rubros como el pesquero son l\u00edderes en su aporte al desarrollo de la zona y al pa\u00eds. Desde las comunas de Tucapel, Tom\u00e9, Coronel y Talcahuano, millones de productos de consumo humano son elaborados para ser exportados diariamente a diferentes destinos del planeta.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-58656 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/RicardoGarciaHoltz-267x400.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"598\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/RicardoGarciaHoltz-267x400.jpeg 267w, https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/RicardoGarciaHoltz-500x750.jpeg 500w, https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/RicardoGarciaHoltz-89x133.jpeg 89w, https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/RicardoGarciaHoltz-768x1153.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/RicardoGarciaHoltz-1023x1536.jpeg 1023w, https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/RicardoGarciaHoltz.jpeg 1066w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px\" \/>\u00abEl jurel y el salm\u00f3n, en esas exportaciones, son los reyes. Desde los puertos del Biob\u00edo se despacharon 366 mil toneladas, lo que equivale a cerca del 54% de la exportaci\u00f3n nacional, en el per\u00edodo 2022 en diversos formatos. En Tucapel, se producen las ovas que posteriormente se convertir\u00e1n en el salm\u00f3n chileno que llega a la mesa de millones de personas, y que desde 2019, luego de ser procesado en Tom\u00e9, Estados Unidos puede disfrutar en su formato fresco exportado v\u00eda a\u00e9rea. En tanto, el jurel chileno, capturado y procesado en Coronel, se destina, mayoritariamente, al continente que m\u00e1s necesitar\u00e1 alimentos en las pr\u00f3ximas d\u00e9cadas: \u00c1frica.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEl desaf\u00edo de nutrir a las personas mundialmente sugiere redoblar los esfuerzos realizados hasta hoy por la industria alimentaria. Se requerir\u00e1 entre 800 a 900 millones de toneladas de alimentos adicionales en 40 a 50 a\u00f1os m\u00e1s, pero manteniendo el desaf\u00edo de respetar el planeta, sorteando las encrucijadas clim\u00e1ticas como la sequ\u00eda, la escasez de tierra utilizable para cultivo de la agricultura, entre otros.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEn este escenario, el mundo pesquero, tanto el industrial como el salmonero, cumple un papel fundamental, y con ello, Chile tambi\u00e9n toma el liderazgo. Los alimentos marinos adquieren un rol protag\u00f3nico por el bajo impacto ambiental que involucra su pesca o crianza y su alto nivel nutricional.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00abUn ejemplo concreto: un plato de salm\u00f3n genera 5 gramos de CO2; uno de carne de vacuno genera casi 50 grs. El mar ofrece una ventaja: puede sustituir alimentos de tierra reduciendo significativamente el impacto medioambiental y pone a disposici\u00f3n prote\u00ednas nutritivas, con alta concentraci\u00f3n de vitaminas y aceites esenciales como el omega 3.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?url_camp=26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?url_camp=26 noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?camp=26\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/b><\/strong><\/span>\u00abEl sector pesquero ha realizado inversiones y diversos cambios en sus procesos para mantener y disminuir sus impactos, todo con el objetivo de alimentar al mundo desde el mar, pero no basta s\u00f3lo con eso, se requiere que nosotros, las personas tomemos conciencia de nuestra salud y del planeta.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEl cultivo sostenible y la pesca responsable son la soluci\u00f3n para la demanda de alimento de una poblaci\u00f3n creciente donde Chile puede llegar a ser una potencia mundial, pero para ello necesitamos de buenas pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas, que basadas en criterios t\u00e9cnicos, fomenten el desarrollo de la pesca y la salmonicultura.
