{"id":61592,"date":"2024-03-18T06:21:21","date_gmt":"2024-03-18T09:21:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/?p=61592"},"modified":"2024-03-19T09:55:35","modified_gmt":"2024-03-19T12:55:35","slug":"investigadores-de-incar-revelan-nuevo-estudio-sobre-piojo-de-mar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/investigadores-de-incar-revelan-nuevo-estudio-sobre-piojo-de-mar\/","title":{"rendered":"investigadores de INCAR revelan nuevo estudio sobre Piojo de Mar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b><span lang=\"ES-TRAD\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alloyingenieria.com\/\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-55815 size-full alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Gif-Alloy.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/b><\/span>Un estudio de investigadores de la l\u00ednea \u201cGen\u00f3mica Acu\u00edcola\u201d del Centro Interdisciplinario para la Investigaci\u00f3n Acu\u00edcola (INCAR), descubri\u00f3 nuevos mecanismos gen\u00e9ticos asociados al proceso reproductivo del Piojo de Mar (Caligus rogercresseyi) y sus diferencias entre machos y hembras.<\/p>\n<p>El hallazgo de los expertos es catalogado como el primer estudio que revela nuevas asociaciones funcionales de genes de vitelogenina de piojos de mar mediante el an\u00e1lisis de genes fusionados, lo que permite explorar nuevas aristas de los procesos biol\u00f3gicos y moleculares del piojo de mar, y proporciona informaci\u00f3n crucial sobre su ciclo de vida, comportamiento y fisiolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>La Vitelogenina es una fosfoglicoprote\u00edna utilizada a menudo como marcador molecular de fecundidad. En ectopar\u00e1sitos marinos como el piojo de mar, la vitalogenina es un gen de gran relevancia para su proceso reproductivo, desarrollo embrionario y respuesta inmune, siendo altamente expresado en hembras maduras.<\/p>\n<p>La caligidosis es una enfermedad causada por el ectopar\u00e1sito conocido como piojo de mar (Caligus rogercresseyi), la que genera grandes p\u00e9rdidas en la industria del salm\u00f3n en Chile. En la actualidad, la enfermedad es tratada principalmente mediante la aplicaci\u00f3n de antiparasitarios, para los que se ha reportado p\u00e9rdida de eficacia en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b><span lang=\"ES-TRAD\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?url_camp=26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?url_camp=26 noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?camp=26\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/b><\/span>De acuerdo al Investigador de INCAR, Dr. Antonio Casuso \u201cprofundizar el conocimiento en torno a los procesos reproductivos del piojo de mar, abre nuevas v\u00edas para dise\u00f1ar m\u00e9todos de control que permitan reducir la cantidad de tratamientos con antiparasitarios, lo que promueve pr\u00e1cticas de acuicultura m\u00e1s amigables con el medio ambiente.
