{"id":62109,"date":"2024-04-02T06:15:27","date_gmt":"2024-04-02T09:15:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/?p=62109"},"modified":"2024-04-03T08:02:46","modified_gmt":"2024-04-03T11:02:46","slug":"uach-incar-e-infood-protein-buscan-nuevo-potencial-de-la-harina-de-insectos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/uach-incar-e-infood-protein-buscan-nuevo-potencial-de-la-harina-de-insectos\/","title":{"rendered":"UACh, INCAR e Infood Protein redescubrir\u00e1n uso de harina de insectos en dietas acu\u00edcolas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b><span lang=\"ES-TRAD\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alloyingenieria.com\/\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-55815 size-full alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Gif-Alloy.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/b>El laboratorio de inmunolog\u00eda y estr\u00e9s de organismos acu\u00e1ticos de la Universidad Austral de Chile (UACh), liderado por el Investigador Asociado de la l\u00ednea \u201cSalud Animal en Ambiente Marino\u201d, del Centro Interdisciplinario para la Investigaci\u00f3n Acu\u00edcola (INCAR), Dr. Alex Romero, comenz\u00f3 una colaboraci\u00f3n con la startup biotecnol\u00f3gica \u201cInfood Protein\u201d, productora de harina y aceite de larvas de mosca soldado negro en la ciudad Valdivia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cEl objetivo de esta colaboraci\u00f3n es caracterizar in vitro e in vivo el efecto de la inclusi\u00f3n de estos aditivos en peces, no s\u00f3lo como una fuente de prote\u00ednas, sino que adem\u00e1s como aditivo funcional, que pueda ejercer efectos ben\u00e9ficos a nivel de la salud y funcionalidad intestinal\u201d, explic\u00f3 el Dr. Romero.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La mosca soldado negro (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hermetia illucens<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), es un insecto tropical, cuya particularidad son sus larvas, las que son m\u00e1quinas devoradoras de residuos org\u00e1nicos de forma r\u00e1pida, segura y escalable. En su forma adulta no se alimenta, por lo tanto, no es plaga ni vector de enfermedades. Para dimensionar la tremenda capacidad de procesamiento de residuos org\u00e1nicos de este organismo, 1 kg de huevos de mosca soldado negro es capaz de transformas 25 toneladas de residuos org\u00e1nicos en 1 tonelada de prote\u00edna de insecto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Considerando estas caracter\u00edsticas y la necesidad de tener fuentes alternativas de prote\u00ednas, la harina de insecto ha ido tomando gran notoriedad para nutrici\u00f3n animal, dado los porcentajes de prote\u00ednas, que puede alcanzar. Tambi\u00e9n es capaz de contribuir con todos los amino\u00e1cidos esenciales. De hecho, se ha demostrado que la prote\u00edna de larvas de mosca soldado negro es capaz de satisfacer los requerimientos nutricionales de los animales, incluidos los peces de cultivo como la trucha y el salm\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b><span lang=\"ES-TRAD\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?url_camp=26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?url_camp=26 noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/medios\/?camp=26\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/b>\u201cEn el laboratorio, se abordar\u00e1n los efectos de estas prote\u00ednas a nivel celular, utilizando l\u00edneas celulares de intestino de trucha, para determinar citotoxicidad, respuesta antioxidante, inmunomodulaci\u00f3n y funci\u00f3n barrera epitelial y analizar sus beneficios para la c\u00e9lula frente a est\u00edmulos como estr\u00e9s oxidativo e infecci\u00f3n con pat\u00f3genos. Lo anterior, se realizar\u00e1 con distintas formulaciones de harinas obtenidas en funci\u00f3n de condiciones productivas y los sustratos y residuos org\u00e1nicos que utilicen las larvas para su crecimiento\u201d, finaliz\u00f3 el Dr. Alex Romero.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Como empresa de biotecnolog\u00eda, nos complace enormemente no solo poder avanzar en la producci\u00f3n y escalabilidad de nuestros productos, sino tambi\u00e9n descubrir continuamente nuevos beneficios en ellos a trav\u00e9s de colaboraciones como estas.
