Los env\u00edos de cobre representaron el principal crecimiento en materia exportadora, donde este producto acumul\u00f3 env\u00edos por US$57.420 millones el a\u00f1o pasado, es decir, un crecimiento del 9,4%. El salm\u00f3n, en tanto, alcanz\u00f3 los US$6.043 millones, un 1,4% menos que en 2023. Por otro lado, las cerezas acumularon un total de US$3.575 millones, un alza de 51,4% respecto a 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Es as\u00ed que la industria frut\u00edcola en su conjunto logr\u00f3 desplazar al rubro salmonero como la segunda mayor industria exportadora de Chile, con un total, sumando todos sus productos, de US$8.245 millones durante 2024.<\/p>\n<h3>Balance<\/h3>\n<p>Frente a este balance, el presidente de SalmonChile, Arturo Cl\u00e9ment, destac\u00f3 que el salm\u00f3n representa un 6% del total de exportaciones, manteni\u00e9ndolo como el producto no minero m\u00e1s importante del pa\u00eds. Agreg\u00f3 que en t\u00e9rminos de mercados, Jap\u00f3n destac\u00f3 con un crecimiento del 15% en volumen y del 16% en valor, \u00abque esperamos que junto con Brasil en 2025 sigan empujando la demanda\u00bb, enfatiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">De cara al futuro, Cl\u00e9ment expres\u00f3 que el sector espera mejorar su desempe\u00f1o, aunque las circunstancias macroecon\u00f3micas globales y los precios internacionales ser\u00e1n determinantes.
