En el segundo d\u00eda del evento -08 de abril-, la ciudad del sur de Chile fue protagonista en la inauguraci\u00f3n del stand de Chile con una activaci\u00f3n gastron\u00f3mica enfocada en su producto m\u00e1s representativo: el salm\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La actividad fue organizada por la Municipalidad de Puerto Montt, la empresa Salmones Multi X y Sernatur Los Lagos, y estuvo encabezada por el chef puertomontino <strong>Frederic Emery<\/strong>, director de la carrera de Gastronom\u00eda Internacional y Tradicional Chilena de la Universidad Santo Tom\u00e1s sede Puerto Montt. Mostr\u00e9 un salm\u00f3n ahumado en caliente, ahumado con roble chileno. La idea es que los turistas vayan a nuestra ciudad, conozcan nuestros productos y prueben el mejor salm\u00f3n de Chile y del mundo\u201d, expres\u00f3 el chef durante su presentaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La iniciativa fue destacada por Arturo Reyes, director de Turismo de la Municipalidad de Puerto Montt, quien valor\u00f3 el respaldo de la empresa privada y la articulaci\u00f3n con otros actores p\u00fablicos. \u201cPuerto Montt estuvo presente participando de la activaci\u00f3n gastron\u00f3mica con que se dio la inauguraci\u00f3n al stand de Chile. Lo hacemos agradeciendo muy especialmente a Salmones Multi X por la colaboraci\u00f3n y esta alianza estrat\u00e9gica entre nuestra ciudad y la empresa\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Imagen internacional de Puerto Montt<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Reyes tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 el mandato del alcalde Rodrigo Wainraihgt en torno a fortalecer la imagen internacional de la ciudad. \u201cNos ha encargado reposicionar la ciudad, y para ello no hay mejor carta de presentaci\u00f3n que el salm\u00f3n producido en nuestra tierra\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Desde el sector privado, Patricio Grez, Sales Manager de Multi X, explic\u00f3 que \u201cpara nosotros es un privilegio estar ac\u00e1 apoyando este tipo de iniciativas. Esta feria nos permite posicionar a la regi\u00f3n y a Puerto Montt, haci\u00e9ndole un v\u00ednculo con el salm\u00f3n y permitiendo dar a conocer productos \u00fanicos como el salm\u00f3n ahumado fr\u00edo y caliente, hecho con robles chilenos y manos chilenas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En tanto, Crist\u00f3bal Ben\u00edtez, director nacional de Sernatur, indic\u00f3 que \u201cestamos aqu\u00ed en Seatrade, la feria m\u00e1s importante de la industria de cruceros.
