Durante la visita, la empresa present\u00f3 sus pr\u00e1cticas de producci\u00f3n sostenible, tecnolog\u00eda y los est\u00e1ndares ambientales que aplica en sus operaciones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan lo expuesto en el programa, la producci\u00f3n de salm\u00f3n org\u00e1nico implica mayores costos, adem\u00e1s del cumplimiento de estrictas pol\u00edticas de manejo y la realizaci\u00f3n de certificaciones y auditor\u00edas peri\u00f3dicas. \u201cLograr una certificaci\u00f3n org\u00e1nica vaya que es complicado. Tiene demasiados matices que deben ser controlados de manera exhaustiva\u201d, coment\u00f3 Rodrigo P\u00e9rez, gerente de Farming de Cooke Chile. El ejecutivo explic\u00f3 que la compa\u00f1\u00eda cuenta con certificaciones bajo la normativa ecol\u00f3gica de la Uni\u00f3n Europea, adem\u00e1s de otras que permiten la exportaci\u00f3n a Canad\u00e1 y que acreditan el bienestar animal durante el proceso productivo.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Marco regulatorio<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El episodio tambi\u00e9n abord\u00f3 la situaci\u00f3n que enfrenta la empresa con la Superintendencia del Medio Ambiente (SMA).
