Realizado por investigadores del Atlantic Veterinary College (UPEI), la Universidad de Dalhousie y Aker QRILL Company, el ensayo tambi\u00e9n mostr\u00f3 que un mayor nivel de inclusi\u00f3n de harina de Krill mejor\u00f3 la apariencia visual de las heridas una vez cicatrizadas, lo que representa un beneficio potencial para la calidad de cosecha y el valor de mercado.<\/p>\n<p>Una estrategia de alimentaci\u00f3n enfocada en la sustentabilidad<\/p>\n<p>Como los alimentos para salm\u00f3n actuales son principalmente de origen vegetal, con una baja inclusi\u00f3n de ingredientes marinos para responder a los desaf\u00edos de sostenibilidad de los recursos, los productores se enfrentan a problemas como menor palatabilidad, desbalances nutricionales y mayor dependencia de suplementos sint\u00e9ticos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEsta investigaci\u00f3n demuestra que QRILL Aqua TM puede mantener un alto desempe\u00f1o de los peces en dietas basadas en plantas y bajas en harina de pescado\u201d, afirma Kiranpreet Kaur, Directora de I+D en Aker QRILL Company. \u201cSe trata de un ingrediente funcional que entrega beneficios tanto nutricionales como ambientales\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Resultados clave<br \/>\nEl ensayo, con duraci\u00f3n de 25 semanas, compar\u00f3 tres dietas que conten\u00edan 0%, 8% y 12% de harina de Krill (QRILL Aqua TM) con una baja inclusi\u00f3n de harina de pescado (10%).
