{"id":81904,"date":"2025-10-21T11:13:02","date_gmt":"2025-10-21T15:13:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/?p=81904"},"modified":"2025-10-22T07:19:41","modified_gmt":"2025-10-22T11:19:41","slug":"pesca-artesanal-reafirma-llamado-a-crear-una-plataforma-social","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/pesca-artesanal-reafirma-llamado-a-crear-una-plataforma-social\/","title":{"rendered":"Pesca artesanal reafirma llamado a crear una plataforma social"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organizaciones que integran la Alianza Nacional por la Defensa de la Pesca Artesanal entregaron ayer un documento al Biministro, \u00c1lvaro Garc\u00eda en el que piden que la reciente Plataforma Social aprobada en la comisi\u00f3n de Pesca de la C\u00e1mara Baja contemple beneficios sociales para los pescadores artesanales y sus familias.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para los dirigentes del sector artesanal hoy la iniciativa, tramitada en el marco de la nueva Ley de Pesca requiere que se le introduzcan cambios permanentes de protecci\u00f3n, apoyo y desarrollo para las familias que viven de esta actividad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En ese sentido, el texto entregado ayer al subsecretario de Pesca, Julio Salas indica que la Plataforma Social debe considerar un seguro obligatorio contra accidentes y fallecimientos en faena, que proteja a hijos y viudas de pescadores; cobertura de salud para pescadores y sus familias; cotizaciones previsionales y acceso a pensiones dignas, un fondo de estabilizaci\u00f3n para las pesquer\u00edas, adem\u00e1s de programas de capacitaci\u00f3n, reconversi\u00f3n productiva y fortalecimiento organizacional.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asimismo, solicitan la incorporaci\u00f3n de un fondo de emergencia para enfrentar desastres naturales, contaminaci\u00f3n marina o cierres de pesquer\u00edas y aumentos de recursos para INDESPA para apalancar al sector artesanal y con ello mejorar procesos, productividad y sostenibilidad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hern\u00e1n Cort\u00e9s, presidente del Consejo para la Defensa del Patrimonio Pesquero (CONDEPP) quien particip\u00f3 ayer en la reuni\u00f3n con el subsecretario Salas dijo que, \u201cesta medida no solo dar\u00eda respuesta a una deuda social hist\u00f3rica, sino que tambi\u00e9n entregar\u00eda estabilidad y formalizaci\u00f3n a m\u00e1s de 100.000 familias que dependen de la pesca artesanal a lo largo del pa\u00eds\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sobre el financiamiento de la iniciativa dijo que, \u201ces de toda justicia que se financie mediante la recaudaci\u00f3n proveniente de las Licencias Transables de Pesca Industrial (LTP-B), porque este mecanismo permitir\u00eda legitimar el sistema de asignaci\u00f3n de derechos de pesca, corrigiendo as\u00ed\u00a0 los vicios y privilegios originados en la antigua Ley Longueira.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sobre el punto, Cort\u00e9s asegur\u00f3 que, \u201cla licitaci\u00f3n parcial de las cuotas industriales es, adem\u00e1s, un mecanismo de transparencia y competencia econ\u00f3mica que se ajusta a las recomendaciones de la OCDE y de los principales organismos internacionales en materia de manejo pesquero\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cort\u00e9s se\u00f1al\u00f3 que tambi\u00e9n le reiteraron al subsecretario de Pesca la necesidad de que la nueva ley asegure una participaci\u00f3n real y vinculante de las organizaciones artesanales en los comit\u00e9s de manejo y en la toma de decisiones sobre los recursos pesqueros. \u201cLa experiencia demuestra que la sustentabilidad solo es posible con la participaci\u00f3n de quienes viven y trabajan en el mar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El dirigente insisti\u00f3 a la autoridad en la necesidad de que el gobierno se comprometa a acelerar tr\u00e1mites pendientes como: Ley de remanentes y Unificaci\u00f3n de especies\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLe dijimos al subsecretario para que se lo transmitiera al ministro Garc\u00eda que la pesca artesanal chilena no pide privilegios, pide justicia y dignidad.
