Mar\u00eda Fernanda Morales-Rivera, Jorge Mancilla-Schutz, Alberto Sandoval, Dra. Tradicionalmente, se han usado m\u00e9todos como la PCR para detectar bacterias espec\u00edficas, aunque estos pueden pasar por alto la diversidad real de microorganismos presentes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cUna de las ventajas de Nanopore es que permite leer el gen 16S completo, identificando bacterias hasta nivel de especie, algo que no se logra con otras tecnolog\u00edas de secuenciaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, es r\u00e1pida y port\u00e1til: en menos de un d\u00eda podemos tener un panorama completo de la comunidad microbiana, incluyendo pat\u00f3genos que los m\u00e9todos tradicionales podr\u00edan pasar por alto\u201d, explic\u00f3 el Investigador Adjunto de la l\u00ednea \u201cGen\u00f3mica Acu\u00edcola\u201d de INCAR, Dr. Diego Valenzuela-Miranda.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Hallazgos<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los principales resultados de los investigadores revelaron la existencia de bacterias relacionadas con procesos de desnitrificaci\u00f3n y metabolismo del sulfuro de hidr\u00f3geno en el agua y se determin\u00f3 que los peces enfermos mostraron menor diversidad microbiana y predominancia de bacterias del grupo Proteobacteria. Adem\u00e1s, se detectaron pat\u00f3genos como Aeromonas, Vibrio y Aliivibrio, incluyendo Aliivibrio wodanis en peces con s\u00edntomas cl\u00ednicos. En contraste, los salmones saludables presentaron rutas metab\u00f3licas asociadas a una mejor digesti\u00f3n y fermentaci\u00f3n de nutrientes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cDetectamos <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aliivibrio wodanis<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en peces enfermos y tambi\u00e9n en el agua del sistema, lo que sugiere una posible transmisi\u00f3n ambiental.
