Paula Medina Henr\u00edquez, de MetroCiencia, Chile.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Dra. Medina, experta en ciencias marinas y bienestar animal, abrir\u00e1 el ciclo de conferencias con una reflexi\u00f3n sobre c\u00f3mo el bienestar de los peces es fundamental para una acuicultura responsable. Con una s\u00f3lida trayectoria en investigaci\u00f3n aplicada y en transferencia tecnol\u00f3gica, su presentaci\u00f3n abordar\u00e1 pr\u00e1cticas que promueven la resiliencia productiva y el respeto por la vida animal en sistemas intensivos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>El<\/b><b> 2 de diciembre, ser\u00e1 el turno del Profesor de la University of Prince Edward Island, de Canad\u00e1, Dr. Mark Fast, quien presentar\u00e1 \u201cFrom Genes to Environment: Shaping Our Understanding of Salmon Immunity\u201d.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reconocido por sus investigaciones en inmunolog\u00eda y patolog\u00eda de peces, el Dr. Fast explorar\u00e1 c\u00f3mo los factores gen\u00e9ticos y ambientales influyen en la respuesta inmunol\u00f3gica del salm\u00f3n frente a par\u00e1sitos como el piojo de mar. Su enfoque integrador promete aportar nuevas perspectivas para el desarrollo de estrategias de control m\u00e1s eficaces y sostenibles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>La tercera charla magistral <\/b><b>\u201cNavigating the Blue Frontier: Harnessing AI for Marine Sustainability and Addressing Ethical Challenges\u201d, <\/b><b>se realizar\u00e1 el <\/b><b>3 de diciembre y estar\u00e1 a cargo de la Dra. Andrea Rodr\u00edguez-Tastets <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">con<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">una mirada innovadora sobre el uso de IA en la conservaci\u00f3n marina.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Dra. Rodr\u00edguez-Tastets es ingeniera civil inform\u00e1tica de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n. Actualmente es profesora titular de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda y vicerrectora de Investigaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n es miembro del Consejo Asesor de Modernizaci\u00f3n del Estado y del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda, Conocimiento e Innovaci\u00f3n.
