{"id":83110,"date":"2025-11-26T11:29:36","date_gmt":"2025-11-26T15:29:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/?p=83110"},"modified":"2025-11-27T05:44:55","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T09:44:55","slug":"intesal-presento-investigacion-pionera-de-modelacion-hidrodinamica-del-fiordo-comau","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/intesal-presento-investigacion-pionera-de-modelacion-hidrodinamica-del-fiordo-comau\/","title":{"rendered":"INTESAL present\u00f3 investigaci\u00f3n pionera de modelaci\u00f3n hidrodin\u00e1mica del Fiordo Comau"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script src=\"https:\/\/platform.linkedin.com\/in.js\" type=\"text\/javascript\"> lang: en_US<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"IN\/FollowCompany\" data-id=\"70381053\" data-counter=\"bottom\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico del Salm\u00f3n (INTESAL), el brazo cient\u00edfico de SalmonChile, ha dado a conocer los resultados de una investigaci\u00f3n pionera que utiliza modelaci\u00f3n hidrodin\u00e1mica avanzada para caracterizar los patrones de circulaci\u00f3n y ventilaci\u00f3n del Fiordo Comau, ofreciendo informaci\u00f3n crucial para una gesti\u00f3n ambiental m\u00e1s precisa y preventiva de la\u00a0 acuicultura.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enmarcado en su Plan de Ciencia, este estudio in\u00e9dito utiliz\u00f3 la Din\u00e1mica de Fluidos Computacional (CFD), una tecnolog\u00eda de simulaci\u00f3n de vanguardia empleada en la industria aeroespacial, adaptada para modelar la hidrodin\u00e1mica de fluidos geof\u00edsicos. El objetivo fue comprender en detalle los tiempos de residencia del agua y los procesos de ventilaci\u00f3n a lo largo del a\u00f1o, integrando forzantes naturales como el viento, caudales fluviales, mareas y el efecto hidrodin\u00e1mico de los centros de engorda.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Conclusiones<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los resultados de la investigaci\u00f3n son categ\u00f3ricos y rompen con el paradigma de un ecosistema con baja ventilaci\u00f3n, entregando una visi\u00f3n m\u00e1s precisa de su comportamiento. El estudio revel\u00f3 que la hidrodin\u00e1mica del Fiordo Comau presenta patrones de ventilaci\u00f3n estacionales caracterizados por v\u00f3rtices y meandros clave para el recambio h\u00eddrico.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La investigaci\u00f3n demostr\u00f3 que para los sectores norte y central del fiordo Comau se determinaron tiempos promedio de residencia del agua en el rango de 4 a 30 d\u00edas, reflejando una alta capacidad de renovaci\u00f3n y dispersi\u00f3n de cargas. Los hallazgos evidenciaron que la ventilaci\u00f3n es m\u00e1s intensa durante oto\u00f1o e invierno en las zonas central y sur, mientras que en primavera y verano predominan corrientes de baja velocidad que generan condiciones de menor recambio, especialmente en la secci\u00f3n sur del fiordo , donde los tiempos de residencia alcanzan un m\u00e1ximo cercano a 45 d\u00edas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Informaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La disponibilidad de esta evidencia cient\u00edfica robusta es fundamental para el futuro sostenible del sector, ya que permite identificar zonas con mayor vulnerabilidad a procesos de acumulaci\u00f3n , y as\u00ed respaldar decisiones estrat\u00e9gicas sobre la ubicaci\u00f3n de centros, la redistribuci\u00f3n de biomasa y el dise\u00f1o de planes de manejo ambiental.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00abPor primera vez contamos con informaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica robusta sobre la din\u00e1mica interna del fiordo Comau, incluyendo sus tiempos de residencia. Esta evidencia nos permite avanzar hacia una acuicultura m\u00e1s preventiva, planificada y basada en conocimiento. Adem\u00e1s, estos resultados rompen el paradigma sobre un ecosistema con baja ventilaci\u00f3n, entregando una visi\u00f3n m\u00e1s precisa de su comportamiento\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Felipe Tucca, desde INTESAL.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por su parte, el Dr. Pablo Cornejo, investigador de INCAR de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n, destac\u00f3 el salto tecnol\u00f3gico: \u201cEl empleo de tecnolog\u00edas de simulaci\u00f3n de vanguardia ha permitido develar informaci\u00f3n de valor para proyectar avances en el fortalecimiento de la gesti\u00f3n productiva y medioambiental de la acuicultura.
