{"id":83840,"date":"2025-12-22T16:24:37","date_gmt":"2025-12-22T20:24:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/?p=83840"},"modified":"2025-12-26T08:58:26","modified_gmt":"2025-12-26T12:58:26","slug":"estudio-asocia-transcriptomica-y-microbioma-con-resistencia-al-caligus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/estudio-asocia-transcriptomica-y-microbioma-con-resistencia-al-caligus\/","title":{"rendered":"Estudio asocia transcript\u00f3mica y microbioma con resistencia al Caligus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"475\" data-end=\"938\">Un estudio liderado por investigadores del Centro Interdisciplinario para la Investigaci\u00f3n Acu\u00edcola (INCAR) analiz\u00f3 la relaci\u00f3n entre el perfil transcript\u00f3mico de la piel y la composici\u00f3n del microbioma cut\u00e1neo en salm\u00f3n Atl\u00e1ntico, identificando asociaciones clave entre estos factores y la resistencia o susceptibilidad frente a la infestaci\u00f3n por el piojo de mar <em data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"863\">Caligus rogercresseyi<\/em>, uno de los principales desaf\u00edos sanitarios de la salmonicultura en Chile.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"940\" data-end=\"1397\">Publicado en <em data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"984\">Fish and Shellfish Immunology<\/em>, el trabajo se bas\u00f3 en un modelo experimental de infestaciones sucesivas y compar\u00f3 tres fenotipos de salm\u00f3n: familias resistentes, susceptibles y un grupo que desarroll\u00f3 resistencia adquirida tras exposiciones repetidas al par\u00e1sito. A trav\u00e9s de secuenciaci\u00f3n de RNA y an\u00e1lisis del gen 16S rRNA, los autores evaluaron de manera integrada la respuesta molecular del hospedador y la din\u00e1mica del microbioma cut\u00e1neo.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1399\" data-end=\"1925\">Los resultados muestran que los fenotipos resistentes y aquellos con resistencia adquirida presentan una mayor activaci\u00f3n de genes asociados a la respuesta inmune, reparaci\u00f3n tisular y regulaci\u00f3n del metabolismo del hierro, en contraste con los peces susceptibles, donde predominan respuestas vinculadas a inflamaci\u00f3n y estr\u00e9s celular. A nivel gen\u00f3mico, el an\u00e1lisis de expresi\u00f3n cromos\u00f3mica evidenci\u00f3 patrones diferenciales de modulaci\u00f3n entre los distintos fenotipos, reforzando la base gen\u00e9tica de la resistencia al c\u00e1ligus.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1399\" data-end=\"1925\"><strong>Microbioma<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1927\" data-end=\"2552\">En paralelo, el estudio identific\u00f3 diferencias significativas en la composici\u00f3n y funci\u00f3n del microbioma de la piel. Los peces resistentes mostraron una mayor presencia de ciertos grupos bacterianos potencialmente asociados a efectos protectores, mientras que en los fenotipos susceptibles se observaron perfiles microbianos vinculados a procesos inflamatorios y a una mayor facilidad para la instalaci\u00f3n del par\u00e1sito. En el caso de los salmones con resistencia adquirida, se detectaron cambios progresivos tanto en la expresi\u00f3n g\u00e9nica como en la microbiota, sugiriendo un proceso adaptativo frente a infestaciones repetidas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2554\" data-end=\"3020\">Seg\u00fan concluyen los autores, la resistencia al c\u00e1ligus en salm\u00f3n Atl\u00e1ntico no depende \u00fanicamente del genotipo, sino tambi\u00e9n de la interacci\u00f3n din\u00e1mica entre el hospedador y su microbioma, desde una perspectiva hologen\u00f3mica.
