El trabajo cont\u00f3 adem\u00e1s con la colaboraci\u00f3n de investigadores de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Barcelona, Espa\u00f1a, de la Universidad de Chile y del Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n y Gesti\u00f3n de Recursos Naturales (CIGREN) de la Universidad de Valpara\u00edso.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"1392\">Los resultados mostraron que, tras exposiciones de corto y mediano plazo, los choritos activaron respuestas asociadas al estr\u00e9s oxidativo, la inmunidad innata y los mecanismos de reparaci\u00f3n celular, especialmente en las branquias. Este tejido destac\u00f3 como el principal sitio de acumulaci\u00f3n de nanopl\u00e1sticos, junto con la gl\u00e1ndula digestiva, lo que sugiere una mayor sensibilidad frente a contaminantes emergentes presentes en el ambiente marino.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1394\" data-end=\"1789\">A nivel histol\u00f3gico, el estudio no identific\u00f3 da\u00f1os severos generalizados, aunque s\u00ed observ\u00f3 alteraciones leves en branquias y tejido digestivo, compatibles con procesos inflamatorios y cambios en la estructura epitelial.
