permiten mejorar la conversi\u00f3n alimenticia y reducir defectos de calidad al momento de la cosecha, fortaleciendo la eficiencia productiva y el valor comercial del producto final.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"384\" data-end=\"620\">La investigaci\u00f3n fue impulsada por Veramaris y analiz\u00f3 ciclos productivos 2023\u20132024 utilizando la base de datos Aquabench Salmobench\u00ae, que re\u00fane informaci\u00f3n de centros de cultivo de salm\u00f3n Atl\u00e1ntico en las regiones de Los Lagos y Ays\u00e9n.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"622\" data-end=\"932\">El an\u00e1lisis consider\u00f3 datos de 151 centros de cultivo, aproximadamente 143 millones de peces y cerca de 464 mil observaciones de filetes, evaluando c\u00f3mo la composici\u00f3n de \u00e1cidos grasos en la dieta impacta variables clave como conversi\u00f3n alimenticia, melanosis y desempe\u00f1o bajo distintas condiciones sanitarias.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"622\" data-end=\"932\"><strong>Resultados<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"934\" data-end=\"1236\">Los resultados mostraron que los salmones alimentados con dietas que conten\u00edan niveles de EPA y DHA superiores al 7,2% del total de \u00e1cidos grasos presentaron mejores indicadores de conversi\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica de alimento (bFCR) en comparaci\u00f3n con aquellos que recibieron dietas con niveles inferiores al 6,2%.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1444\">Este indicador resulta especialmente relevante para la industria, ya que influye directamente en el costo del alimento, la eficiencia en el uso de recursos y la huella de carbono de la producci\u00f3n salmonera.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1446\" data-end=\"1725\">Adem\u00e1s, cuando los datos se analizaron bajo escenarios de mayor presi\u00f3n de mortalidad, las mejoras en eficiencia alimentaria fueron a\u00fan m\u00e1s marcadas, lo que sugiere que los beneficios nutricionales se vuelven m\u00e1s relevantes cuando los peces enfrentan condiciones m\u00e1s desafiantes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1727\" data-end=\"1994\">En materia de calidad de cosecha, el estudio tambi\u00e9n identific\u00f3 una reducci\u00f3n significativa en la melanosis, uno de los defectos m\u00e1s costosos para el procesamiento de salm\u00f3n, ya que afecta la clasificaci\u00f3n del producto y puede generar importantes p\u00e9rdidas econ\u00f3micas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2494\" data-end=\"2716\"><a
