El trabajo sugiere que, durante y despu\u00e9s de la alimentaci\u00f3n, los salmones pueden consumir m\u00e1s ox\u00edgeno, lo que podr\u00eda generar momentos m\u00e1s exigentes dentro de las jaulas. En sus conclusiones, los autores se\u00f1alan que la actividad digestiva puede \u201cafectar claramente los niveles de ox\u00edgeno disuelto en los centros de cultivo\u201d e influir en el riesgo de hipoxia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si bien los autores advierten que se trata de evidencia inicial, todav\u00eda no revisada por pares, el trabajo entrega una se\u00f1al relevante para la industria, ya que el ox\u00edgeno no es solo una condici\u00f3n de base, sino una variable que influye directamente en el bienestar de los peces y, por tanto, en la operaci\u00f3n de los centros. El propio documento plantea que, para representar correctamente el riesgo de hipoxia en jaulas, este efecto \u201cdebe ser considerado\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El documento tambi\u00e9n plantea que, en per\u00edodos sin alimentaci\u00f3n, el consumo de ox\u00edgeno baja y las condiciones dentro de la jaula pueden mejorar. De hecho, los resultados indican que la reducci\u00f3n del consumo de ox\u00edgeno durante el ayuno \u201cconduce a un aumento claro\u201d de los niveles de ox\u00edgeno disuelto dentro de las jaulas.
