{"id":88591,"date":"2026-05-08T12:45:49","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T16:45:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/?p=88591"},"modified":"2026-05-08T12:46:10","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T16:46:10","slug":"estudio-identifica-peptidos-de-microalgas-contra-patogenos-del-salmon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/estudio-identifica-peptidos-de-microalgas-contra-patogenos-del-salmon\/","title":{"rendered":"Estudio identifica p\u00e9ptidos de microalgas contra pat\u00f3genos del salm\u00f3n"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"339\">Un estudio cient\u00edfico identific\u00f3 nuevos p\u00e9ptidos antibacterianos obtenidos a partir de la microalga <em data-start=\"100\" data-end=\"127\">Chlamydomonas reinhardtii<\/em>, compuestos que mostraron actividad contra pat\u00f3genos relevantes para la salmonicultura y que podr\u00edan contribuir al desarrollo de alternativas m\u00e1s sostenibles al uso de antibi\u00f3ticos convencionales en acuicultura.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"341\" data-end=\"683\">La investigaci\u00f3n fue desarrollada por el Laboratorio de Gen\u00e9tica e Inmunolog\u00eda Molecular y el N\u00facleo Biotecnolog\u00eda Curauma de la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Valpara\u00edso (PUCV), con la participaci\u00f3n de la doctora Pabla Ugalde, quien lider\u00f3 el estudio en el marco de su investigaci\u00f3n doctoral en biotecnolog\u00eda de microalgas y acuicultura.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"953\">Seg\u00fan explic\u00f3 Ugalde, el trabajo se enfoc\u00f3 en el desarrollo de alternativas innovadoras y sostenibles al uso de antibi\u00f3ticos convencionales para el control de pat\u00f3genos que afectan la producci\u00f3n de salmones, integrando ciencia aplicada, biotecnolog\u00eda y salud acu\u00edcola.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"953\"><strong>La investigaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"955\" data-end=\"1396\">Publicado en <em data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"984\">Algal Research<\/em>, el estudio evalu\u00f3 tres microalgas verdes mediante procesos de hidr\u00f3lisis enzim\u00e1tica para identificar compuestos con potencial antibacteriano. Entre ellas, <em data-start=\"1141\" data-end=\"1168\">Chlamydomonas reinhardtii<\/em> present\u00f3 la mayor actividad inhibitoria frente a <em data-start=\"1218\" data-end=\"1238\">Vibrio anguillarum<\/em> y <em data-start=\"1241\" data-end=\"1267\">Piscirickettsia salmonis<\/em>, agentes asociados a vibriosis y septicemia rickettsial del salm\u00f3n (SRS), respectivamente.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"955\" data-end=\"1396\">Los investigadores identificaron diez secuencias pept\u00eddicas derivadas de esta microalga y sintetizaron qu\u00edmicamente aquellas con mayor potencial antimicrobiano.
