{"id":89810,"date":"2026-06-15T10:52:07","date_gmt":"2026-06-15T14:52:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/?p=89810"},"modified":"2026-06-15T10:52:07","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T14:52:07","slug":"investigador-de-incar%c2%b2se-adjudica-proyecto-idea-id-2026-para-innovadora-terapia-contra-virus-ipn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mundoacuicola.cl\/new\/investigador-de-incar%c2%b2se-adjudica-proyecto-idea-id-2026-para-innovadora-terapia-contra-virus-ipn\/","title":{"rendered":"Investigador de INCAR\u00b2se adjudica proyecto IDeA I+D 2026 para innovadora terapia contra virus IPN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El Acad\u00e9mico de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Universidad Austral de Chile (UACh) e Investigador Adjunto de la l\u00ednea \u201cEnfermedades de peces y resistencia a los antimicrobianos\u201d del Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n Aplicada, CIA-INCAR\u00b2, Dr. Jaime Figueroa Valverde, se adjudic\u00f3 un proyecto del Concurso IDeA I+D 2026 de ANID, orientado al desarrollo de soluciones innovadoras para la industria acu\u00edcola nacional.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La iniciativa \u201cTerapia contra virus IPN basada en nanoanticuerpos administrables oralmente\u201d, busca enfrentar el resurgimiento de la necrosis pancre\u00e1tica infecciosa (IPN), una enfermedad viral que ha vuelto a niveles cr\u00edticos en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, especialmente en sistemas de recirculaci\u00f3n acu\u00edcola.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El proyecto propone una estrategia basada en el uso de nanoanticuerpos derivados de cam\u00e9lidos, una tecnolog\u00eda de vanguardia caracterizada por su peque\u00f1o tama\u00f1o, estabilidad y alta eficacia. Estos compuestos ser\u00e1n incorporados en los pellets de alimento para ser administrados de forma oral a los peces, lo que permitir\u00eda reducir la mortalidad y mejorar la salud de los salm\u00f3nidos mediante un m\u00e9todo no invasivo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La propuesta tiene al Dr. Figueroa Valverde como Director del proyecto y al Dr. Guillermo Valenzuela Nieto de la Universidad San Sebasti\u00e1n (USS) como Director Alterno, y surgi\u00f3 a partir de trabajos previos desarrollados por el entonces Investigador Postdoctoral del Centro FONDAP-INCAR, Dr. Valenzuela Nieto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Dr. Jaime Figueroa Valverde destac\u00f3 que \u201cla principal contribuci\u00f3n de este proyecto radica en lograr integrar una inmunoterapia econ\u00f3mica y efectiva, con la administraci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s en los pellets de alimento, evitando o complementando m\u00e9todos invasivos como la vacunaci\u00f3n o tratamientos complejos que aumentan los costos de producci\u00f3n. Este desarrollo innovador con base cient\u00edfico-tecnol\u00f3gico tiene el potencial de impactar positivamente en la industria salmonera, proporcionando una soluci\u00f3n no invasiva y econ\u00f3mica frente a los brotes virales del IPNv al reducir mortalidades en etapa de agua dulce y mejorar resistencia a infecciones secundarias en agua salada dados los cambios epigen\u00e9ticos reportados en peces sobrevivientes a esta infecci\u00f3n viral.
